Yogneeti Global Privacy Policy

Effective Date: 27th July 2026 Last Updated: 27th July 2026

Introduction

At Yogneeti (hereinafter referred to as “the Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), we deeply honor the vulnerability required to engage in yoga, somatic work, movement, and nervous system regulation. We are committed to protecting your privacy with the highest level of integrity.

This Global Privacy Policy governs your use of the Yogneeti website, our Teachable platform, our digital protocols, and our 1-on-1 Guidance Tracks (collectively, the “Services”). It outlines how we collect, use, process, and protect your data in compliance with PIPEDA (Canada), GDPR (UK/EU), and the CCPA (USA).

1. The Information We Collect

To provide a secure container and seamlessly deliver our Services, we collect only what is strictly necessary:

  • Identity & Contact Data: Name, email address, billing address, and account credentials.
  • Sensitive & Somatic Data: Information regarding your physical history, nervous system boundaries, and goals voluntarily disclosed via intake forms or sessions. (Note: We treat this data with strict confidentiality, but it is not classified as protected medical information, e.g., HIPAA/PHIPA, as we provide educational coaching, not medical treatment).
  • Audio/Video Recordings (Live Sessions): Live 1-on-1 sessions via Zoom or Google Meet are recorded (audio/video) solely for internal quality assessment and practitioner development. We do not sell or share full recordings. We may use anonymized clippings for marketing, guaranteeing your face, name, and recognizable personal details are never revealed.
  • Financial Data: Records of purchases processed by secure third-party gateways (e.g., Stripe). We do not store full credit card numbers.
  • Technical & Analytics Data: IP address, device information, login timestamps, and platform usage analytics (video watch time, download logs, etc.) tracked via Teachable.

2. How We Use Your Information

We process your data strictly to fulfill our contractual obligations, improve your experience, and operate securely. Specifically, we use your information to:

  • Deliver Services: Provide purchased digital protocols, course materials, and live session links.
  • Customer Support: Respond to inquiries, support requests, and administrative needs efficiently.
  • Personalize & Improve Platforms: Analyze aggregated, non-identifying usage data to understand how Clients interact with our materials, allowing us to continuously improve our curriculum.
  • Tailor 1-on-1 Guidance: Review intake forms to adapt live sessions to your physical boundaries.
  • Enforce Boundaries: Utilize platform analytics (specifically, exact video watch percentages) to objectively determine eligibility for our strictly enforced 14-Day/15% Return Policy.
  • Secure Platforms: Contest unauthorized chargebacks and protect against fraud.
  • Communicate: Send order updates and, where you have opted in, periodic marketing emails.

3. Lawful Basis for Processing (GDPR Compliance)

For clients in the UK/EEA, our lawful bases for processing your data are: Contractual Necessity (to deliver purchased Services), Legitimate Interests (to protect business operations, prevent fraud, and enforce refund policies), and Consent (for marketing and processing voluntarily shared somatic data, which you may withdraw at any time).

4. How We Share Your Data

We absolutely never sell, rent, or trade your personal or sensitive data. We only share data with vetted, compliant third-party infrastructure providers (Teachable, Stripe, Zoom, email providers) required to run our business, with the following conditions:

  • Artificial Intelligence: We may use internal AI-assisted transcription tools strictly for note-taking. We explicitly prohibit these providers from using your personal or somatic data to train their external AI models.
  • Legal Disclosures: We reserve the right to disclose information if required by law (e.g., subpoena) or in an emergency involving imminent risk of severe physical harm.

5. International Data Transfers

Yogneeti operates in Ontario, Canada. By utilizing our Services, you acknowledge your data will be transferred to, stored, and processed in Canada and the United States (where our servers, like Teachable, reside), safeguarded by strict international data protection standards.

6. Public Forums & User-Generated Content

If you share personal or somatic information in public areas of our Teachable platform (e.g., course comments), that information becomes public. The Company is not responsible for the privacy of information you voluntarily disclose in these spaces.

7. Data Retention & Your Global Rights

We retain your account data while active, and financial records for seven (7) years for tax compliance. Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to:

  • Access the data we hold about you.
  • Rectify inaccurate data.
  • Erase your data (Right to be Forgotten), which will result in account termination and loss of course access.
  • Withdraw Consent from marketing communications at any time.
  • Technical & Analytics Data: IP address, device information, login timestamps, concurrent session activity, and platform usage analytics (video watch time, download logs) tracked via Teachable. We use this both to improve our materials and to detect unauthorised account sharing.

8. Cookies & Tracking

  • Cookies: We use essential cookies to keep you logged in, and analytical cookies to track your course progress. We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our platform, and the Meta pixel to measure the performance of our advertising. Disabling essential cookies will prevent you from accessing purchased protocols.
  • Do Not Sell / CASL: Under the CCPA, we emphatically state: We do not sell your data. Under Canadian Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), we only send marketing emails with explicit opt-in consent.

9. Children’s Privacy (COPPA Compliance)

Our Services are strictly designed for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of eighteen (18). If we inadvertently collect data from a minor, we will immediately delete it and terminate the account with the purchased refund.

10. Security & Third-Party Platform Breaches

We implement industry-standard safeguards and partner with enterprise-grade cloud providers (e.g., Google, Teachable). However, no digital system is 100% secure. By using our Services, you acknowledge that Yogneeti is not legally or financially liable for unauthorized access, data loss, or breaches occurring on third-party platforms outside our direct control. In the event of a breach, we will notify you and relevant authorities as legally required.

11. Changes to this Privacy Policy

Yogneeti reserves the right to update this Privacy Policy at any time to reflect changes in our business or legal requirements. We encourage you to review this page frequently. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this Policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

12. Your Acceptance of These Terms

By accessing our website, purchasing our digital protocols, or participating in our Services, you signify your explicit acceptance of this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not access our platforms. Your continued engagement with Yogneeti following the posting of any changes will be deemed your legal acceptance of those changes.
